The Clipboard
The Clipboard allows you to cut, paste and duplicate objects.
Imagine a sheet of paper with a drawing on it. You cut the drawing with the scissor in order to put these cuts somewhere else. To use the clipboard, select the object (by clicking on it or if it's text, keeping the left mouse button down and dragging the text until it is gray on the part you want.
To copy the object that you want to reuse, select it,
then press copy

then, at the place where you want it, click there and click paste
